Foreign Affairs Minister Saidov meets ECO Secretary-General, discusses strengthening economic cooperation
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Secretary-General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Asad Majeed Khan, in Tashkent to discuss the advancement of Uzbekistan’s initiatives within the organization.

In a statement on his Telegram channel, Saidov highlighted the importance of the 16th ECO Summit, themed “Together Towards Economic Stability and Development,” which was held in Tashkent last year.
According to the minister, the summit was instrumental in enhancing the organization’s profile and facilitating economic collaboration among member states.
During the talks, Saidov and Khan emphasized the need to establish practical tools for effective cooperation within the ECO framework, focusing on a roadmap for upcoming projects.
