Several airlines change flight routes due to Iranian airspace closure
Uzbekistan Airports has announced that several flights have had to adjust their routes following recent developments in the Middle East, which have led to a partial airspace closure over Iran.

Early this morning, flight J9-1650 operated by Jazeera Airways, which departed from Tashkent at 4:50 AM bound for Kuwait, was forced to return to the Tashkent airport. The aircraft landed back in Tashkent at 7:06 AM local time.
Additionally, Fly Dubai’s flight FZ-778 from Dushanbe to Dubai was rerouted to Tashkent’s airport due to the Iranian airspace closure. The flight landed at 8:32 AM local time, and the airline has scheduled its onward journey from Tashkent for 9:00 PM, following a mandatory crew rest period.
Another Fly Dubai flight, FZ-1942, which departed from Tashkent at 4:58 AM for Dubai, landed at an alternate airstrip in Ashgabat at 6:58 AM Tashkent time.
Centrum Air’s flight C6-702, traveling from Jeddah to Tashkent, diverted to Riyadh, and flight C6-3336 from Medina to Fergana landed at Dubai’s Al Maktoum Airport at 8:17 AM, also due to the airspace closure.
Passengers on impacted flights are advised to check with their respective airlines for updated departure information. Additionally, several flights from Uzbek cities that normally transit over Iranian airspace have faced delays due to these restrictions.
