The Afghan side expressed gratitude to Uzbekistan’s leadership for the ongoing support and assistance provided to Afghanistan. Representatives from the Balkh provincial administration, the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and regional urban planning authorities also participated in the talks.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on practical aspects of their future collaboration, focusing particularly on the construction of the Imam al-Bukhari Madrasa. This project is seen as a key initiative to strengthen ties between the two nations, which share linguistic, cultural, and spiritual commonalities.
The Afghan representatives emphasized that the madrasa, which will be built with Uzbekistan’s assistance, will help bring the two nations closer by preserving and promoting their shared traditions and values.
