Lulu Group may launch fruit and vegetable exports from Uzbekistan to Kuwait
Officials from Uzbekistan’s embassy have held negotiations with representatives from Lulu Group International’s Kuwait office, discussing opportunities to enhance exports of Uzbek products to international markets. The talks focused on increasing the volume of goods produced in Uzbekistan being exported to foreign countries, with both sides expressing optimism about potential collaborations.

Uzbek diplomats highlighted the benefits and incentives offered for exporting Uzbek products, as well as the favorable conditions created for foreign importers. Lulu Group International expressed particular interest in establishing the export of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Kuwait. According to the Kuwaiti side, there are plans to sell Uzbek products through the 16 branches of Lulu Hypermarket in Kuwait.
Both parties also discussed the logistics and transportation routes for bringing Uzbek products to Kuwait. It was noted that with the support of Uzbekistan’s embassy, 3 tons of fresh fruits will soon be delivered to Kuwait via Jazeera Airways.
In addition to this development, it was announced that "Uzbekistan-Kuwait" business forums will be held from October 16 to 21 in Tashkent, Fergana, and Syrdarya. Kuwaiti businesses have been invited to participate in the events, which aim to foster stronger economic ties between the two nations.
