According to Uzbekistan’s Embassy, a new export contract has been signed between the Uzbek-American Trade House in New York and GardenCells LLC, based in Tashkent. Under this agreement, 1.7 thousand tons of fresh grapes have already been delivered to New York via air transport.
The grapes, which meet the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards, are being sold at NetCost's stores across New York State. The fruit has garnered significant interest from local consumers, prompting an additional order and an agreement to export 3-4 tons of grapes weekly.
This growing demand for Uzbek grapes is seen as a positive development in boosting agricultural exports and strengthening trade ties between Uzbekistan and the United States.
