Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, has announced the development of a new mobile application that will allow drivers to monitor the operations and gas availability at fuel stations in real-time. The initiative is expected to provide much-needed convenience for vehicle owners, particularly during the upcoming winter season.
The newly introduced project will enable users to track the status of over 1,200 fuel stations across the country. Drivers will not only be able to see which stations currently have gas available but will also receive information on when the next gas delivery is expected.
Developed in collaboration with local IT companies, the mobile app will be available for download soon and will be free of charge. Fuel stations can voluntarily connect to the system by providing data on their operations, ensuring that users have up-to-date information.
The app is set to be fully operational and accessible to the public by December 1, offering a seamless solution for drivers seeking to navigate the challenges of fuel shortages during peak demand seasons.
