Ismailov highlighted the pressing issue of habitual traffic violations and the dangers they pose to society. He called for a law that would permanently revoke the driving privileges of those who commit particularly serious traffic offenses. “A current societal issue is the systematic violation of traffic rules, which is why we need to adopt a law that enforces a lifetime driving ban for severe infractions,” the deputy emphasized.
Earlier, Robakhon Makhmudova, Chairperson of the Adolat Party, voiced similar concerns, advocating for stricter consequences for speeders. According to Makhmudova, increasing fines is not an effective solution to reducing the number of accidents and traffic-related violations. Instead, she argued that lifetime bans for reckless drivers would be a more efficient deterrent.
