Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov heads Uzbekistan’s Chess Federation

Alisher Sadullayev, who led the federation since May 2022, will now serve as the first deputy chairman under the new leadership of Prime Minister Aripov. 

The change in leadership is seen as part of the ongoing efforts to further develop and promote chess in Uzbekistan, a sport that has seen significant growth in recent years.
