Starting from October 2, the airline will avoid flying over Iraqi airspace and the western part of Iranian airspace until further notice. This decision follows a directive from Uzbekistan’s Civil Aviation Agency, which instructed the airline to take these precautions to ensure the safety of civil aviation.
Despite the changes, Uzbekistan Airways will continue operating its regular flights on the Tashkent–Tel Aviv–Samarkand/Tashkent route, utilizing alternative flight paths to maintain the highest standards of safety for its passengers.
