FM Bakhtiyor Saidov noted importance of non-interference in internal affairs during talks with Russia’s Sergey Lavrov

During the meeting, the ministers discussed key aspects of their countries' strategic partnership and reviewed preparations for upcoming high-level events. Bakhtiyor Saidov, Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister, shared details of the discussion through his official Telegram channel.

"The bilateral cooperation agenda remains broad and covers all areas of collaboration," Saidov noted, highlighting the comprehensive nature of the ties between Uzbekistan and Russia.

A central point of the discussions was the reaffirmation of the principle of non-interference in each other’s domestic matters, which the ministers agreed is vital for building mutual trust and strengthening their partnership.

"We emphasized the importance of adhering to the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other nations to foster mutual trust. We have agreed to continue our ongoing dialogue in the spirit of alliance," said Saidov.
