The mission consists of 14 international experts based in Tashkent and 26 long-term observers who will be stationed across the country starting from October 2. Additionally, OSCE/ODIHR has requested 300 short-term observers who will arrive in Uzbekistan shortly before election day.

The mission will assess the elections' compliance with OSCE commitments, international standards for democratic elections, and Uzbekistan’s national legislation. Observers will monitor the election campaign process, adherence to existing laws, resolution of election disputes, and media coverage of the elections.

Preliminary findings from the mission will be presented the day after the elections during a press conference. A final report, which will provide a comprehensive evaluation of the entire electoral process, is expected to be published several months after the elections.
