Russian travel blogger describes her journey on Uzbekistan’s train as a "true challenge"
A travel blogger from Russia, who visited Uzbekistan at the end of February, found the heating system on the train carriages to be a major issue — describing them as being excessively hot.

The female travel blogger, who traveled in a third-class "platzkart" carriage on an Uzbek train, advised against taking a similar trip. She shared her impressions on the "Лайк Трэвел ПУТЕШЕСТВИЯ" (Like Travel Journeys) blog on the Dzen platform.
According to the blogger, she visited three cities in Uzbekistan — Tashkent, Bukhara, and Khiva — at the end of February. She traveled between the cities by train and often found a spot on the upper bunk of the platzkart carriage. However, the heating system in the carriages caused her the most discomfort, as they were extremely hot.
She noted that all the local women on the train were dressed modestly and, despite the heat, did not remove their outer garments. Taking their lead, the blogger decided to endure the heat.
"My night on the Uzbek train turned into a real challenge, but the only thing that saved me was the kindness, positivity, and incredible hospitality of the Uzbek people. It was because of them that I managed to endure such a hot night," the blogger concluded.
