Customs officers prevent smuggling of pneumatic gun and ammunition into Uzbekistan
A passenger coming from Russia was caught attempting to secretly smuggle a firearm into Uzbekistan.

According to a report from the "Tashkent-Aero" specialized customs complex, on September 17, customs officers at the Tashkent International Airport conducted a routine check on a passenger arriving on the Yekaterinburg-Tashkent flight.
During the inspection of a green-colored travel bag, which had not been declared for customs control or mentioned during the verbal inquiry, authorities discovered one Stalker pneumatic pistol along with 860 rounds of ammunition. The passenger did not have the necessary permits from law enforcement agencies.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
