“The parties noted that the interaction between the interior ministries of the two countries is expanding, cooperation in combating transnational crime, as well as ensuring public safety is at a high level, intensive exchange of information and experience between the ministries, advanced training of personnel and bilateral visits are carried out,” the report said.

They separately emphasized cooperation in the fight against cybercrime. It is important to strengthen bilateral cooperation and constantly exchange experience in this area, the MIA Department noted.

During the meeting, attention was also drawn to the fight against terrorism, human trafficking, narcotrafficking and other types of transnational crime.

The parties discussed the organization of special training courses to combat cybercrime and study digital forensics.

Turkish partners will also get acquainted with security activities at tourist sites in the city of Tashkent and the Samarkand region.
