New EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan presents credentials to FM Bakhtiyor Saidov

The newly appointed Ambassador of the European Union to Uzbekistan has presented copies of his credentials to FM Bakhtiyor Saidov.
Toivo Klaar, the newly appointed EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan, has handed over copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the MFA reports.
At the meeting it was noted that the Government of Uzbekistan is committed to strengthening relations between Central Asia and the European Union, contributing to these ties with significant results.
The meeting also focused on reinforcing cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union and addressing pressing global issues.
"We are confident that the Ambassador's experience and extensive knowledge of our region will contribute to the effectiveness of his diplomatic mission in our country," said Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.
