New uranium deposits discovered in Uzbekistan
Promising uranium deposits have been found in six regions.
As a result of geological exploration conducted by the state company "Navoiyuran" in several regions, promising uranium deposits were discovered, according to a statement by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Specifically, uranium deposits were found in:
Shafirkan District, Bukhara Region;
Farish District, Jizzakh Region;
Kyzyltepa and Khatyrchi Districts, Navoi Region;
Mubarak and Kasan Districts, Kashkadarya Region;
Angren City, Tashkent Region;
Pap District, Namangan Region.
