According to the press service of the head of our state, the foundations of upbringing and personal development are laid in childhood. Therefore, the state pays special attention to the preschool education system. Over the past seven years, the level of coverage has increased from 27 to 74.6 percent. In the next five years, it is planned to increase this figure to 80 percent.

At the same time, the content of education and upbringing is also important. Issues of providing teaching aids, increasing the potential of educators, and introducing new approaches require attention.

The presentation reviewed proposals aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of preschool education.

In particular, in order to expand coverage, it is planned to allow the construction of kindergartens on the free territory of schools on the basis of public-private partnership.

Not all kindergartens have access to teaching and methodological materials developed on the basis of the state program. Non-governmental institutions use Internet resources. In this regard, all programs are planned to be posted on the website of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and made available for free use.

In the best foreign practice, the intellectual and cognitive potential, physical, mental, social state of children are constantly monitored, and the educational process is adjusted based on this. Taking this into account, the task of maintaining a “Child Development Map” in the Information System for Preschool Education Management has been set.

Most teachers in kindergartens have secondary specialized education. The current term for advanced training in the field is once every five years. In order to accelerate this process, it is planned to hold “Hour of Methodological Mastery” and “Day of Methodological Mastery” events between advanced training courses. It is also proposed to introduce a dual form of education in higher education institutions, increase target quotas for correspondence and evening education.

Today, attendance and food expenses in public kindergartens are documented in paper form. Therefore, it is necessary to digitalize reporting using biometric identification technology.

The presentation also discussed measures to improve work with gifted youth.

In recent years, the system of training and motivating students has changed significantly. If in 2022, schoolchildren of Uzbekistan won 45 medals at international subject Olympiads, then this year they won 113 awards. At the same time, the potential of our youth, capable of declaring themselves to the whole world, is even greater.

For their thorough preparation and improvement of performance, the selection of participants in international subject Olympiads will be organized, starting from grades 5-8. Curricula, literature, methodological recommendations and manuals for each subject will be improved and communicated to students and mentors. Foreign specialists will be involved in the national teams, joint training sessions with foreign teams will be held.

Today, cash prizes are awarded to winners of 22 international and regional subject Olympiads. A decision has been made to expand this list to 28. Cash rewards and gifts to students who win national and international Olympiads, their teachers and team leaders will be exempt from income tax.

The head of state instructed to once again carefully study and comprehensively finalize the proposals.
