Abdurazzakov briefed the guests on the opportunities for the project in the region and the favorable conditions being created for investors. Following the meeting, the Chinese delegation inspected potential sites for the plant's construction.
In March, there were reports of China Mining Energy Group's plans to develop copper deposits in the Chust district of the Namangan region. The company intends to invest $200 million in creating a facility capable of processing 30,000 tons of copper annually.
