Nigmatilla Yuldashev re-elected as Chairman of Uzbekistan Kurash Federation

The General Prosecutor, Nigmatilla Yuldashev, has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation for a new five-year term, according to the press service of the Ministry of Sports.
"At the conference, which was attended by representatives from Karakalpakstan, regional kurash federations, relevant specialists, and delegates, it was noted that systematic work has been carried out in our country in recent years to develop the national sport of kurash, support its international development, and create the necessary infrastructure," the Ministry stated.
The sports department also reported that special attention is now being given to the international development of the national sport through the organization of kurash tournaments, various championships, seminars, and training sessions in countries across Europe, America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
Yuldashev was elected to this position in October 2019. Before him, the post was held by the former General Prosecutor, Otabek Murodov.
