Applications open for student dormitories: Priority given to socially vulnerable
The Unified Public Services Portal has detailed the categories of citizens who will be given priority for dormitory placements.
Applications for student dormitories for the 2024/2025 academic year began on August 1. Applications for dormitory placements can be submitted for free through my.gov.uz, according to the Unified Public Services Portal.
To apply, one needs to visit the portal my.gov.uz, select the required service, and follow the instructions. No documents are required.
Priority for dormitory placements is given to the following categories of citizens:
- Residents of orphanages, orphans, and those deprived of parental care;
- Children from families in need of social protection (included in the "iron notebook," "women's notebook," "youth notebook");
- Persons with disabilities;
- Persons studying based on two or more paid contracts from one family;
- Winners of academic Olympiads, "Students of the Year," and winners of other competitions;
- Students actively involved in dormitory activities (e.g., student council president or floor captain).
Applications can be submitted from August 1, 2024, until the end of the academic year.
It is noted that applicants recommended for admission to the 1st year of higher educational institutions in the 2024/2025 academic year can apply after the final results are announced.
