The Competition Committee reported an investigation into the Turakurgan oil depot, which is part of the state company "Uzbekneftegaz."

According to the agency, the enterprise inflated the selling prices of diesel fuel for farming enterprises. Currently, the prices are set at 5400 UZS per liter.

The oil depot received 2.75 billion UZS in unjustified income from fuel sales. Additionally, 826.5 million UZS were obtained by inflating prices when selling fuel in limited quantities through direct contracts on the exchange.

A special commission determined that the actions of the Turakurgan oil depot and "Uzbekneftegaz" violated the regulations on the sale of monopoly and highly liquid products. The enterprise was ordered to return the overpaid amount of 3.57 billion UZS.

The Turakurgan oil depot attempted to appeal the Committee's decision in court. However, its claim was dismissed, and the decision remained in force.

In June, the Competition Committee initiated a case against "Navoiazot" regarding price manipulation of mineral fertilizers. The Tashkent court rejected the state enterprise's appeal.
