Court sentences Tashkent resident to 10 days for aggressive Telegram comment against Israeli ambassador in Uzbekistan

According to the case materials, the citizen, R.A., was summoned to the Mirzo-Ulugbek District Department of Internal Affairs building to explain the comment he had written.

However, refusing to comply with the lawful demands of law enforcement officers, he began shouting loudly and using obscene language at the entrance of the building, thereby disturbing public order.

At the court hearing, R.A. stated that he had complied with the lawful demands of the law enforcement officers and had come to the Department of Internal Affairs without taking any extra actions, and requested that he be given a first warning.

By the court's decision, citizen R.A. was found guilty of committing offenses under Article 183 (Minor Hooliganism) and part 1 of Article 194 (Failure to Comply with the Lawful Requirements of a Law Enforcement Officer) of the Administrative Responsibility Code of Uzbekistan. He was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest.
