Latvian employers have opened vacancies for auto mechanics and truck drivers with a CE license, according to the Migration Agency.
For the auto mechanic position, specialists aged between 25 and 40 years are being considered. The salary offered is €1,000.
Key requirements for auto mechanics:
• Knowledge of working with technical manuals
• Ability to work with automotive parts and bodywork
• Experience with diagnostic equipment
• Knowledge of Russian or English
A minimum of two years of experience is also required.
For the CE truck driver position, specialists up to 55 years old are needed. The salary ranges from €1,100 to €2,500.
Requirements for CE truck drivers:
• Transporting goods across all European countries
• Understanding of transport-related documents
• Possession of an electronic driver’s chip card
• At least 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of Russian or English
Employers will provide accommodation during training and testing, insurance, and assistance with document and work permit registration. However, workers will need to cover the costs of agency services, training, visa, food, and airfare themselves.
Applications can be submitted until July 24, 14:00 on the Migration Agency’s website.
Additionally, Germany has announced openings for Uzbek specialists. According to the Migration Agency, vacancies are available for nurses and participants in the Ausbildung program in the fields of medicine and elderly care.
For the nursing position, candidates must have a diploma in nursing, a German language proficiency of at least B1, a minimum of one year of work experience, and be between 18 and 45 years old. Accepted employees will be offered a salary from €2,300 to €2,700 (before taxes).
In recent months, several EU countries have also announced organized recruitment of workers from Uzbekistan. Germany has invited 5,000 people for various jobs, Hungary has opened recruitment for truck drivers, and Slovakia is hiring workers for auto manufacturing plants.
