In particular, he emphasized that 200 electric buses and 12 metro trains will be purchased for Tashkent from China's BYD company.
The government plans to deliver 1,000 buses to provincial centers.
Additionally, the president has instructed the purchase of buses by the end of the year.
The minister paid special attention to digitizing the ticket-purchasing process and transitioning to an electronic format.
The task of gradually abandoning the use of cash for public transportation has been set. Travel tickets can be purchased online. This process will be implemented first in the capital.
