Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Sadyr Japarov launch joint projects
Cobalt, Onix and Tracker car production plant was launched in the Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan in cooperation with Uzbekistan. The construction of two solar power stations has been started in Fergana and Namangan.

After bilateral negotiations, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov took part in the launching ceremony of major cooperation projects.
In particular, the construction of two solar power stations with a total capacity of 400 megawatts has been started in Fergana and Namangan regions. It is envisaged that the electricity produced at these stations will be supplied to Kyrgyzstan.
A factory for the production of modern cars and commercial equipment was launched in Chuy region. In particular, cars and trucks such as Cobalt, Onix and Tracker are assembled there.
Also, the production of sewing and knitting products and fabric was launched in the city of Kara-Balta. Modern technological equipment was supplied and installed at the enterprise.
The presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan expressed confidence that these projects will serve to expand mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries.
