The meeting participants also exchanged views on transforming the unhealthy media environment, particularly improving legislation in the sector and regulating journalistic ethics.

"Recently, we have observed that media representatives are focusing on sensational materials, highlighting various unpleasant situations that dampen the mood, including exaggerating incidents related to murder and death.

Moreover, we are also witnessing an increase in the number of fake news and disinformation in social networks and the press.

From this perspective, we exchanged views on transforming this unhealthy media environment, particularly on improving legislation in the sector and regulating journalistic ethics," wrote Komil Allamjonov on his Telegram channel.
