Individuals with expertise and experience in visual arts, design, graphics, illustration, advertising, and related fields are eligible to participate.
Design concepts and themes include:
• Historical and sacred landmarks
• National values, culture, and history of Uzbekistan
• Uzbekistan's national currency
• The Great Silk Road
• Sports field
• Nature and wildlife
• National craftsmanship
• Free topic
The competition consists of two stages. In the first stage, designs must be original and not previously submitted by the designer or other creators.
Designs should be prepared using computer graphics (CorelDraw, PhotoShop, and Illustrator software) or hand-drawn on A4 paper, with each element clearly visible.
The design should include both the obverse (front side) and reverse (back side) appearances and a brief description.
Completed designs are accepted until July 31, 2024, at 23:00, via the email address designmint@davlatbelgisi.uz, Telegram channel +998 94 210 12 18, or in person at "Davlat Belgisi" company, 100114, Javoharlal Nehru Street, 3rd floor, Tashkent city.
Submitted works must include the author's full name, address, phone number, and email address.
All submitted design projects will be reviewed by the working group of "Davlat Belgisi," and the best 30 designs will be shortlisted. A list of design authors will be announced.
During the second stage, the 30 selected projects will be finalized in collaboration with specialists from "Davlat Belgisi," and electronic files in EPS, AI, PDF, CDR vector formats will be prepared for editing.
The 30 design projects will be presented to the Central Bank's commission. The commission will review the submitted design projects within 5 business days and select 15 winners.
Winners will receive prize money as follows:
• 1st place: 20 million UZS
• 2nd place: 15 million UZS
• 3rd place: 10 million UZS
• 4th to 15th places: 3 million UZS each
Prize money will be transferred to the author's bank plastic card within 7 business days from the day of the announcement of the winners. Authors of the 15 winning projects will receive copyright fees starting from the time of payment to "Davlat Belgisi."
An additional one-time honorarium of 10 million UZS will be paid to the designer of commemorative coins and souvenir collections chosen based on the subject-oriented direction within the mentioned projects.
