Adult male attacked a girl with knife for refusing to marry him in Kashkadarya
A young man in the Kashkadarya region stabbed a 4th-year student eight times in the courtyard of Karshi State University and then attempted to commit suicide.

As the PGO press secretary Khayot Shamsutdinov told Kun.uz, the incident occurred on June 22 at 08:15.
A young man, M.E., living in the Uzunnavo mahalla, came to the university with the goal of killing 4th year student S.T. He stabbed her several times with a kitchen knife and then plunged the knife into his stomach.
Both victims were hospitalized. The girl is in serious condition.
According to preliminary data, M.E. had a fight with S.T., whom he had previously known, and intended to kill her because her parents refused her engagement to him.
It is noted that a criminal case has been initiated against M. Erkinov.
Currently, the prosecutor’s office is conducting preliminary investigative actions.
