Uzbekistan Airports and EU Wings have signed a cooperation agreement under which the foreign company will carry out maintenance of aircraft at the international airports of Tashkent, Bukhara, Navoi, Urgench, Namangan, and Fergana.
The types of aircraft serviced will include Airbus models 319, 320, 321, 330, Boeing models 737, 767, 777, 787, Embraer RJ 170/190, as well as ATR 42/72.
According to the terms of the contract, the Italian company will provide maintenance services in accordance with the requirements of the airlines. This is expected to attract new foreign carriers to the local airports and create additional jobs.
