Lacetti driver crashes into a tree in Tashkent, dies on spot

In the Yashnabad district, a 26-year-old driver, while driving a Lacetti, lost control and crashed into a tree on the roadside, the capital’s police department reports.

The accident occurred on June 7 on Elbek Street. The driver died on the spot due to his injuries.

Based on this fact, the investigative department of the Tashkent city DIA opened a criminal case under Article 266-2 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of a person). The investigation is ongoing.
