This agreement will serve to further strengthen trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Egypt and expand business cooperation.
The parties agreed to develop mutual trade by opening one or more trading houses for Uzbek goods, as well as by creating a distribution center and production cooperation in Egypt, in particular in Port Said and other regions, on terms acceptable to both parties.
It should be noted that through these trade and distribution centers it is planned to export products manufactured in Uzbekistan to the countries of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The parties also agreed to exchange information on the state of the market for goods and services in the two countries, and other information necessary for companies, enterprises and organizations investing and operating in one or both countries. A working group has been formed to actively promote the agreement.
A delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan is expected to visit Egypt in the near future, and a separate site will be allocated for companies in our country in the Port Said free economic zone.
