Regular flights between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia to increase up to 50 a week
The leadership of Uzbekistan Airways has held negotiations with the aviation administration of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

As part of the "FAF 2024" event, a delegation led by the Director of the "Uzbekistan Airways Agency Tohir Nazarov held negotiations with the aviation administration of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Transport reports.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to increase the number of regular flights between cities of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia to up to 50 from each side, and a Memorandum was signed to confirm the agreements reached.
The Memorandum will create extensive opportunities for pilgrims from Uzbekistan going to the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, as well as for foreign tourists visiting Uzbekistan as part of the Umrah Plus program for pilgrimage tourism.
Moreover, the Memorandum aims to connect all airports of Uzbekistan with Saudi Arabia and further strengthen the relations between the two countries.
