Bear shot dead in Surkhandarya for putting people's lives in danger
The wild animal was aggressive and threatened people's lives.

On May 15, a bear appeared on the territory of residential buildings in the Jannatmakon mahalla of the Sariosiyo district of Surkhandarya region. Police officers tried to neutralize the animal, but it attacked one of them and wounded him, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change reports.
The bear also entered the territory of school No. 74, where students were at that moment. This situation required operative measures, and the beast was shot.
The police officer who was attacked is currently undergoing a medical examination.
