Fire breaks out in capital’s Yashnabad district
Social networks spread a video of strong fire in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent. The video material shows a large plume of gray smoke, which is said to be visible from a distance.

The capital’s Emergency Situations Department reported that on May 7 at 11:25, the Emergency Situations Service received information about a fire at a furniture manufacturing plant located on Mukhtar Ashrafi Street.
At 11:30 a fire and rescue crew arrived at the scene. In total, 11 fire and rescue crews have been involved at this time.
“Currently, work to extinguish the fire continues,” the emergency situations department said in a statement published at 12:33.
No casualties were reported as a result of the fire.
