A 33-year-old man from Fergana also insulted the president on TikTok. Moreover, he did this more than once. He was sentenced to 5 years and 3 months of imprisonment under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In January of this year, two Samarkand residents, 26 and 30 years old, as well as a 25-year-old resident of Karakalpakstan, were also brought to justice. They left their offensive comments under more than 15 videos about Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Natives of the Samarkand region were sentenced to 2 years of correctional labor each, and a citizen from Karakalpakstan – to 1 year.
A resident of Fergana was sentenced to 7 years in prison. He was sentenced in February of this year. The man posted several videos on Facebook insulting the president, as well as a derogatory poem.

The woman, accusing Shukhrat Ganiyev of fraud and corruption, doubted the president’s honesty. The court found her guilty and sentenced her to 3 years of restriction of freedom, she was imposed a fine.
Another fact of insulting the president was recorded by employees the Samarkand regional DIA. A local resident called the short number “102” and said that he was dissatisfied with the powers that the president had vested in law enforcement officers, while insulting the head of state. The court sentenced the offender to 3 years of correctional labor.
Kun.uz previously wrote that a 28-year-old resident of Namangan was sentenced to 5 years in prison for writing derogatory comments about the president.
