According to the MIIT Telegram channel, the parties reviewed the progress of implementation of promising projects in the fields of energy, education, healthcare and water supply, as well as prospects for the joint implementation of new initiatives included in the cooperation program for the period 2024-2026.
In particular, the Program provides funding for 12 projects totaling $2.58 billion in areas such as green energy, water supply, highway reconstruction and infrastructure development.
Particular attention was paid to discussing the progress of preparations for the 9th Annual Meeting of the AIIB Board of Governors in September this year in Samarkand.
Currently, 13 projects worth $2.57 billion are being implemented with the bank’s participation in such sectors as state budget support, water supply and sewerage, energy, support for small businesses and private entrepreneurship.
