Hamkorbank issues corporate bonds worth 50 billion soums

Debt securities are sold at a 22% discount, and their maturity is 1 year.

Hamkorbank issued discount corporate bonds worth 50 billion soums, the press service of the Republican Stock Exchange “Tashkent” reports.

On Tuesday, the board of the trading platform decided to include Hamkorbank debt securities in the Bond Market segment of the exchange quotation list, which have been admitted to trading since May 1.

50 thousand securities with a par value of 1 million soums were placed on the site. Bonds with a maturity of 1 year are offered with a 22% discount (yield).

The placement of corporate discount bonds is the second issue for Hamkorbank. The underwriter was the investment company HBCapital.

Last week, Imkon Finans issued corporate bonds worth 10 billion soums, which became its fourth debt issue.

In the first quarter, trading volume on the stock exchange decreased by more than 10 times – to 171.9 billion soums. The chairman of the trading platform, Giorgi Paresishvili, explained this by the “high base” effect after major transactions were carried out in 2023.
