State purchased 500 million UZS worth of electricity from residents over two months

Physical and legal entities who have installed solar, wind, and biogas power stations with up to 1 MW capacity for their own needs can sell any excess electricity to "Regional Electric Networks" JSC.

Those generating electricity for their own use can sell the excess energy to other physical and legal entities through their own electric networks.

If the electricity producer does not have their own electric networks, the energy can be supplied to other physical and legal entities through "Regional Electric Networks" JSC, based on tariffs set by the Interdepartmental Tariff Commission documentation.

Payments for the delivered electricity must be made by the 25 of the month following the billing month:

- For each kilowatt-hour of electricity produced by solar panels installed on personal properties under the " Sunlit Dwellings" program and fed into the single electric power system beyond personal consumption (positive difference), a subsidy of 1000 sums per kilowatt-hour will be allocated from the State budget (accessible through the Soliq mobile app);
- "Regional Electric Networks" JSC will compensate physical and legal entities with solar, wind, and biogas power stations for each kilowatt-hour of electricity produced and fed into the single electric power system beyond personal consumption (guaranteed at 80 percent of the rate set for consumer group II tariff).
