Tariffs for electricity and gas may increase from May 1

SOCIETY 16:25 / 16.04.2024 3220

From May 1, the size of the social norm for energy consumption is established:

•  electricity – up to 200 kWh per month;
•  gas (from March to October) – up to 100 cubic meters;
•  gas (during the heating season from November to February) – up to 500 cubic meters.

The social norm of energy consumption is understood as a certain amount of energy paid by the population at a preferential rate. That is, it is sold at a relatively low (preferential) price up to a certain norm, and above this norm it is sold at market prices.

From this date, energy prices increase.

Electricity

For household consumers living in apartment buildings and dormitories centrally equipped with electric stoves for food preparation, the tariff will increase from 147.5 to 225 soums within the social norm of up to 200 kWh per month), 450 soums – for consumption from 201 to 1000 kWh per month, 675 soums – from 1,000 to 5,000 kWh per month, 787.5 soums – from 5,000 to 10,000 kWh per month, 900 soums – over 10 thousand kWh per month.

The cost of 1 kWh of electricity for other household consumers increases from 295 to 450 soums when consuming up to 200 kWh per month, 900 soums – from 201 to 1000 kWh per month, 1350 soums – from 1000 to 5000 kWh per month month, 1,575 soums – from 5,000 to 10,000 kWh per month, 1,800 soums – over 10 thousand kWh per month.

Natural gas

The price of one cubic meter of natural gas supplied to the population during the heating season from November to February will increase from 380 to 650 soums when gas consumption is within 500 cubic meters, 1,500 soums – from 500 to 2,500 cubic meters, 1,950 soums – from 2,500 to 5,000 cubic meters, 2,275 soums – from 5,000 to 10,000 cubic meters, 2,600 soums – over 10 thousand cubic meters.

In March-October, tariffs will be 650 soums for consumption of up to 100 cubic meters of gas, 1,500 soums – from 101 to 2,500 cubic meters, 1,950 soums – from 2,500 to 5,000 cubic meters, 2,275 soums – from 5,000 to 10,000 cubic meters, 2,600 soums – over 10 thousand cubic meters.

In the absence of meters, a cubic meter of gas supplied for cooking and hot water supply will increase from 660 soums to 1,200 soums (+81.8%), for heating – from 380 soums to 700 soums (+84.2%).

The tariff for liquefied gas for the population will increase from 1,120 to 1,600 soums per kg (+42.8%).

From July 1, the price of gas supplied to automobile gas filling compressor stations (CNG filling stations) will increase from 1,500 to 1,800 soums (+12%).

From April 1, 2025, tariffs will increase again. For household consumers living in apartment buildings and dormitories centrally equipped with electric stoves for food preparation, the tariff will increase from 225 to 300 soums within the social norm of up to 200 kWh per month, 500 soums for consumption from 201 to 1000 kWh per month , 750 soums – from 1000 to 5000 kWh per month, 875 soums – from 5000 to 10,000 kWh per month, 1000 soums – over 10 thousand kWh per month.

The cost of 1 kWh of electricity for other household consumers increases from 450 to 600 soums when consuming up to 200 kWh per month, 1,000 soums – from 201 to 1,000 kWh per month, 1,500 soums – from 1,000 to 5,000 kWh per month, 1,750 soums – from 5,000 to 10,000 kWh per month, 2,000 soums – over 10 thousand kWh per month.
