A deputy governor of Tashkent has been appointed for issues of youth policy, social development and spiritual and educational work.

According to the capital’s administration, Durdona Rakhimova, who until now worked as Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports, will continue her activities in a new post.

Durdona Rakhimova began her career in 2012 as the head of the department for working with talented youth and young scientists of the Council of the youth social movement “Kamolot” of Jizzakh region.

Previously, she also worked as deputy governor of Tashkent on youth policy, social development and spiritual and educational work.
