Entrepreneurs to buy recyclable waste from population
On Friday, at a meeting dedicated to environmental issues, the president announced a new system of incentives for citizens to sort waste.

According to the head of state, after sorting the garbage, residents of multi-storey buildings will take it to a special station.
At the expense of the Ecology Fund, residents will be provided with special garbage bags free of charge. They will separate waste into recyclable, non-recyclable and organic, and then transfer it to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Entrepreneurs, in turn, will buy recyclable useful waste from the population.
At the initial stage, this system will be launched in Tashkent city, Andijan, Bukhara, Termez, Angren and Tashkent districts.
