Tashkent police department carried out raids to identify beggars on streets
During the latest operative event, three other people’s infants were found among the “professional beggars”.

According to the deputy head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Uchtepa district, Abdurashid Ochilov, during raids to identify facts of begging at mosques, along roads, at intersections and highways, administrative protocols were drawn up against 26 women professionally engaged in begging. There were 13 minor children involved in begging with them were.
The children were transferred to the Social Protection Center at the capital’s Main DIA.
In addition, during the last operative event, three other people’s infants were found among the “professional beggars”. The babies were returned to their parents, who were also begging.
A. Ochilov recalled administrative liability for begging, as well as criminal liability (in case of repeated offense).
