Heavy snow expected on Kamchik pass
On March 21, snow will fall on the Kamchik pass, heavy precipitation and fog will be observed from time to time, visibility will decrease to 50 meters, wind speed will increase, and ice and snow piles may appear on the highway.

On March 21, 2024, snow may fall on the section of the A-373 “Tashkent-Osh” highway that passes through Kamchik Pass.
According to Uzhydromet, strong precipitation and fog will be observed in the pass from time to time, visibility will decrease to 50 meters, wind speed will increase to 18-23 m/s, and piles of ice and snow may appear on the highway.
Due to the expected precipitation and temperature changes on March 21-27, 2024, in the mountainous regions of the republic, including:
• Kashkadarya region: in Dehkanabad, Kitab, Kamashi, Shakhrisabz districts;
• Surkhandarya region: in Boysun, Kumkurgan, Sariosiyo, Uzun districts;
• Samarkand region: Nurabad, Kushrabot, Samarkand, Urgut districts;
• Jizzakh region: in Bakhmal, Zomin districts;
• Tashkent region: Bostanlik, Parkent, Akhangaran, districts (Chatkal ridge mountains);
• Namangan region: A risk of avalanche is announced in Pop district.
