The event is organized by Iran’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, the Economic Cooperation Organization and the diplomatic missions of countries celebrating this holiday.
The event was attended by First Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of Iran Ali Dorobi, Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Khusrav Noziri, President of the Institute of Culture of the Economic Cooperation Organization Saad Khan and heads of representative offices of foreign countries and international organizations accredited in Tehran, including Uzbekistan.
First Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of Iran Ali Dorobi in his speech emphasized that the Nowruz holiday was included in the UNESCO list of intangible heritage in 2016.
As part of the event, national dishes were prepared, in particular sumalak, which is a symbol of Nawruz.
