The applicant was the company Reach Impex, which filed two applications on March 11 under the numbers 202401749 and 202401748. They are now “in the process of official examination”.
When asked by Gazeta.uz, a company representative refused to comment on plans to open a branch of the network in Uzbekistan. “I can’t say anything yet,” Reach Impex said.
The founders of the company, which was registered on April 19, 2022 with an authorized capital of 211.1 million soums and is engaged in wholesale non-specialized trade, are Bakhodir Burkhanovich Usmanov (60%) and Abror Akhralovich Abdujabbarov (40%), who is also the head of the company.
The last name and first name of Bakhodir Usmanov coincides with the full name of the brother of the Russian billionaire of Uzbek origin, Alisher Usmanov.
Reach Impex also previously registered the trademark of the Russian fast-food chain Kroshka-Kartoshka in Uzbekistan.
