An operative event was held by employees of the Andijan Regional SSS Department.
In it, the former employee of the Asaka district DIA’s investigative unit promised to change the measure of “imprisonment” applied to the head of the construction company within the framework of the criminal case being conducted by the district prosecutor’s office. In exchange for reducing the amount of damage determined during the investigation by conducting re-assessment measures, the defendant was caught red-handed while receiving $15,000 from his relatives.
Based on the materials collected in connection with the situation, a criminal case was initiated against the former investigator under Article 168, Part 4, Paragraph “a” and Article 28,211, Part 3, Paragraph “a” of the Criminal Code.
During the investigation, the deputy district prosecutor was also involved as an accused in this criminal case. At present, they have been applied “imprisonment” precautionary measure.
In another case, according to the assignment of the head of the agricultural department of the Asaka district governor, the deputy of the district governor for agricultural issues demanded $40,000 from the buyer in exchange for the sale of 50 acres of the land plot leased for a long term to the limited liability company specialized in animal husbandry, as well as changing the category of this land area to a non-residential place through the district cadastral department.
The head of the agricultural department of the district administration was caught when he received $15,000 in advance during an operative event conducted by the State Security Service. In addition, the head of the Asaka district department of the Cadastre Agency was arrested with material evidence while receiving $5,000 from this money.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the Asaka district governor’s deputy for agricultural issues, the head of the district agricultural department, and the head of the Asaka district department of the Cadastre Agency under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
