The President noted that it is planned to allocate funds in the amount of $1.1 billion and 10 trillion soums for the events discussed today. $100 million will be allocated to support 5.5 thousand small and medium-sized enterprises on preferential terms, which will create 50 thousand permanent jobs.
On February 29, foreign investors presented projects worth $700 million, and local businessmen - $200 million. The French company Voltalia began construction of the first photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 100 MW in Khorezm.
In the Khorezm region, negotiations have begun with foreign companies on a project to build a large gas chemical complex worth more than $10 billion. The launch of the facility, which will produce 2.4 million tons of polymers annually, will create 3 thousand new jobs.

In the village of Chakka-Sholikor in the Urgench district, the task has been set to create a technology park and launch projects worth $100 million in the fields of electrical engineering, textiles and building materials by the end of this year.
In addition, an additional $25 million will be allocated for small and medium-sized industrial projects. Loans will be issued for a period of up to 7 years at 18% per annum, and their maximum size will be 1.5 billion soums.
