Rumors about construction of an entertainment center instead of Sergeli car market denied
As the Tashkent city leadership and Sergeli bazaar administration explained to Kun.uz, the issue of moving the bazaar and building a park in its place is not on the agenda.
Rumors about the construction of a new amusement park instead of the car market in Sergeli district spread on social networks.
To clarify the situation, Kun.uz contacted the administration of Sergeli market (“Sergeli bazaar of used vehicles and spare parts” LLC).
“Information that an entertainment center will be built instead of the Sergely car market is spreading on various Telegram channels and social networks, this information is incorrect and has not been confirmed. Currently, there is no official information about the construction of an entertainment center instead of the Sergeli car market,” says Rufat Mavlonov, the deputy director of the market.
According to the Tashkent city administration, neither moving the market nor the idea of building a recreational park in its place is on the agenda.
