Cuba and Australia appoint new ambassadors to Uzbekistan
On February 24, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of the credentials of the newly appointed ambassadors of Cuba, Carlos Valdes de la Concepcion, and Australia, John Geering.

According to the MFA press service, during the meeting with the Cuban ambassador, the issues of further development of bilateral relations were discussed. The parties considered promoting the export of goods and services.
At the meeting with the ambassador of Australia, the sides exchanged views on expanding bilateral trade and exploring new cooperation opportunities. The parties also discussed relevant regional and international issues.
