Precipitation, mainly in the form of snow, is expected over the weekend in the Bukhara, Navoi, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, and Surkhandarya regions.
Northeast winds of 7-12 m/s are forecasted, with increases to 15-20 m/s on February 16-17 and possible gusts of up to 25-28 m/s in certain areas. In the mountainous regions of the republic, occasional snow and avalanche dangers are expected. Fog and icy conditions are also anticipated on the roads in some areas.
No precipitation is expected in the capital over the weekend. Northeast winds of 3-8 m/s will strengthen to 10-12 m/s. Fog is possible during the night and early morning hours. Nighttime temperatures are predicted to be -3…-5 degrees, with daytime temperatures of -1…+2 degrees.
